Hi

I have a basic pay as you go plan on my phone. I don't need or want a monthly plan. Wifi connects when I am home or somewhere that I have passwords.

I am looking at buying a newer car. It will allow me to connect my mobile to the car and use google maps app ( or any map app I suppose ) but I have to activate 'mobile data'.

Does using mobile data cost me money ?? I don't need to have the map up and running all the time, just on certain journeys.

Any help would be gratefully received.

If you don't have an included data allowance you will be paying per mb of data.

Actual data costs for your tariff will be shown in your MyO2.

Tagging Forum Manager @Dave-O2 about the Gmail Spam and Forum e-mails, @mucky1957 - it has been passed to Khoros, the platform provider, many months back.

Something we have complained about.

It's not just Gmail. I moved mine onto my own email and server and then had to convince it they were not spam

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
